He was predeceased by : his parents, Donnie Pickering and Mary Pickering (Vickers); and his sister Becky Bratcher. He is survived by : his children, Pamela Myers of St. Joseph, Dennis Pickering (Sandra) of Braymer and McKenzie Stacy (Dallas) of Braymer; his siblings, Danny Pickering of Cameron, Dianna Fick of Braymer, Donna Wright of Louisiana and Jody York (Brian) of Blue Springs; and his grandchildren, Janissa, Keegan, LeAnn, Carson, Sophia, Paitynn, Zoey, Olivia, Dallas Gage and James. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation in care of the funeral home.
