He was predeceased by : his parents, William Raymond and Lillian Fontell Allen (Herron); and his siblings, Norma Kral, Frances Bates, Doris Lawson, Pat Sethman, Bette Allen, Phyllis Tucker and William Allen.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Dillman; his children, Danny Allen (Tanya) of Polo and Tracy Allen of Polo; his sister Mary Miller (Alvin) of Excelsior Springs; and his grandchildren, Christopher Allen of Polo, William Hall of Richmond, Ashley Magnuson (Kirk) of Wichita, KS, Danielle Walker (Zach) of Kittery and Jon Allen of Polo. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Polo United Methodist Church or Shirkey's Hospice in care of the funeral home.
