She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Councilor and Ellen Councilor (Wheeler); her husband Rodney Hyatt; her brother Donald Higley; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Key.
She is survived by: her children, Katrina Mitchell (Travis) of Kalamazoo, MI, Tina Franklin of Poplar Bluff and Michael Fry of Poplar Bluff; and her siblings, Charles Councilor of Poplar Bluff, David Higley of Poplar Bluff, William Councilor (Ernestene) of Poplar Bluff and Helen Jean Key of Doniphan. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
