She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrd F. Boyers and Hettie Sparkman Boyers; her son Teddy Dowd; and her siblings, Virginia Crites, Ruthie Boyers and Ben Boyers.
She is survived by: her spouse Theodore Dowd; her children, Larry (Diane), Sandi Kay Cowan of Poplar Bluff and Debra Ann Conover (Pete) of Broseley; and her siblings, Betty Webb of Illinois, Mildred Worley of Poplar Bluff and Meredith Boyers of Poplar Bluff. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
