He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Mattox and Ruth Mattox; and his daughters, Karen and Kimberly Hart. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Kelley; his children, Eugene A. Hart, Christopher H. Mattox (Dolores), Jeffrey L. Hart (Stacey), Dementrice Griffin (Ken) and Laura Hudgins; his stepson Eric Wheat (Christine); and his siblings, Evelyn V. Williams, Gladys Allen (Clyde) and Max Mattox. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
