He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Vinson and Violet Vinson (Hathaway); and his wife Shirrell Bollinger Vinson. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Vinson of San Jose, CA and Brook Vinson of San Jose, CA; his siblings, Carolyn Russle of Farmington, MO, Sharon Raymer of Mexico, MO and Glen Ray Vinson of Modesto, CA; and his stepsons, Brett Hawkins of Denver, CO, Matt Hawkins of New Hampshire and Ty Hawkins of Santa Cruz, CA..

The family requests donations be sent to the Poplar Bluff Public Library.
