He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Doty and Mary Pearl Doty (Spencer); and his wife Shirley Doty (Reynolds). He is survived by: his children, Janice Slavings and George R. Doty II; his grandchildren, Jamey, Brian, Autumn, Nikita, George and Anna; and his sister Geri Long. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
