It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Virginia Swiney (Poplar Bluff, Missouri), born in Campbell, Missouri, who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Amos Baker and Lennie Baker; her husband George Vaughn Swiney; her siblings, Wanda Penrod and Ray Baker; her children, Neda Gail Swiney of Cryptal City and Rex Dale Swiney (Connie) of Poplar Bluff; her siblings, Junior Baker (Debbie) of Campbell, Donald Baker (Opal) of Melbourne, Florida and Lois Housman (Ron) of Northville, Michigan; and her sister-in-law Sharon Baker of Campbell. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews; two step grandsons and two step-great-grandchildren.
