He was predeceased by: his wife Ola Bernice Pruett; his daughter Ronda Phillips; his parents, Edgar Pruett and Allie Pruett; his grandson Jimmy Pruett; and his siblings, Elvin Pruett, Tommy Pruett, Glendon Pruett, Orin Pruett, Eugene Pruett, Archie Buford, Minnie Lee Clark and Levina Jean Hicks.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Pruett (Donna), Howard Pruett and John Pruett (Debbie); and his close friend Carolyn Pentecost. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
