It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Vernon (Poplar Bluff, Missouri), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Vernon and Opal Vernon (Simpson); and his son John Michael Vernon. He is survived by: his son James L. Vernon; and his grandchildren, James M. Vernon (Stacey), Joseph D. Vernon (Cheryl), Dr. Kim Vernon (Jose Mieryteran) and Sara Vernon Williams. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
