He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanno Bertram and Liselotte Bertram; and his brother-in-law Deitmer Erwin. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his siblings, Lotte Erwin and Hanno Bertram; his niece Birigite Erwin; his nephew Hulger Erwin; his daughters, Becca Beaird (Justin) of Harviell, MO and Pam Willis (Travis) of Ellsinore, MO; his grandchildren, Jordan Willis, Anna Willis of Ellsinore, MO, Colby Beaird and Nora Beaird of Harviell, MO; and his mother-in-law Nora Ellen Morris of West Plains, MO..
