He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Elizabeth Bonnard. He is survived by: his brother Raymond; and his children, Michael Lovette (Teresa), Larry Lovette (Carol), Denise Tweddell (Jim), Paula Williams (Michael), Leroy 'Lee' Lovette, Jr. (Karen), Kevin Lovette (Melissa), Karen Shannon (Tim) and Kenneth Lovette (Stephanie). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers and five sisters.
