She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Starling and Nora Vernettie Stone (Miller); her daughters, Sandra Brown of Poplar Bluff, Karen Hast (Dennis) of Poplar Bluff and Ruth Ann Brown of Poplar Bluff; her stepson Larry Hastings; her grandson Donald "Donnie" Brown, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Kaden Kendle, Karlie Kendle, Hunter Hudson (Miranda), Savannah Hudson, Taylor Dichsen, Peyton Dichsen, Austin Dichsen, Kaitlyn Kopp, Madelyn Kopp, Cody Brown, Alyssa Brown, Gracie Brown, Michael Tiffany and Lukas Tiffany; her great great grandchild Landon Brown; and also Melissa Brown of Poplar Bluff.
She is survived by: her former husband George D. Brown; her son Donald W. Brown; her husband James W. Hastings; her stepsons, Dr. Michael Hastings of Poplar Bluff and Randy Hastings of Poplar Bluff; her sister Wanda Poirier of Jensen Beach, Florida.; and her grandchildren, Jami Kendle (Phillip) of Jackson, Penny Hudson (Billy) of Poplar Bluff, Stacy Dichsen (Andy) of O'Fallon, IL., Holly Kopp of Wildwood and Shannon Tiffany of Poplar Bluff.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Children's School of Poplar Bluff or the First Baptist Music Ministry.
