He was predeceased by: his parents, Bethel Hicks and Paulene Hicks (Tune); and his brothers, Jimmy and Terry Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Helen Hicks; his stepchildren, Jeff Cox, Teresa Duke and Dustin Sykes; his grandsons, Dillon Duke, Alex Cox, Larry Duke and Ryan Cox; and his siblings, Steve Hicks and Glinda Markham.
