Laing; her children, Samuel Clayton of Pruitt, III and Venus Starr Laing of Poplar Bluff; her siblings, Tim Eads of Dexter, Sherry Smith of Cape Girardeau and Gwen Tinker of Poplar Bluff; her nephew Josh Tinker of Poplar Bluff; and her grandson Rocky Wayne Pruitt.
