She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shrum and Mittie May Shrum (Mullins); her husband Norman Helm; her siblings, Roscoe, Lester, Fred, Harold, Willis Shrum, Velma Helm and Lena Jones; her grandchildren, Jimmy Hudson, Wade Marler, Mitchell Scowden and Cleo Dover; and her great grandchild Brent Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Helm (Thelma) of Puxico, John Henry Helm (Sandy) of Greenville, Larry Gene Helm of Lubbock, TX, Marie Scowden of Greenville, Georgia Lawery (Don) of St James and Patsy Dillon of Wappapello; her sisters, Helen Cable of Shook and Betty Lapka of Fairview Heights, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey and Thelma Helm. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, sixty-one great-grandchildren, twenty-two great-great-grandchildren.
