She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Shepherd and Mamie Irene Somers Shepherd; and her brothers, John E. Shepherd and Luther Joe Shepherd. She is survived by: her children, Rick Lundry of Poplar Bluff and Debbie Showalter (John) of Los Angeles; her wife Bethany; her great grandchildren, Noah Scott, Myah Vitatoe and Farrah Vitatoe; and her siblings, Thelma Eldridge of Pollard, Janet Shepherd Graham of Poplar Bluff, Laveda Ellis (Tom) of Scottsdale, Martha Shipman (Bobby) of Fairdealing and Phillip Shepherd (Donna) of Doniphan.
