It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Pierce of Portageville, Missouri, born in Wardell, Missouri, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lovena Huntington and Boyd Wood; her brother James William Waynick; her daughter Mary Ellen Waynick; her siblings, Boyd Wood Jr., William Lee Wood, Richard Thomas Wood, Virginia Sue Watson, Betty Ann Rollins, Daisy Williams, Linda Barretta and Patricia Wood; her great grandchildren, Heather Perry, Teanna Craig and George Bush; and her great great grandchild Everleigh Reigh Griebe.

She is survived by : her husband Orville Pierce; her children, John D Waynick Jr. of Murray, Carolyn Sue Hartwell (Peter) of Festus, MO, Allie Mae Mausshardt of St. Louis and Deborah Perry of Portageville; her siblings, Gaylon Eugene Wood (Helen) of Indiana, One and Mary Womack of Portageville; and her grandchildren, Paul Crites, Robin Tenshler, Raymond Perry, Patricia Craig "Teddy", James Perry Sr., Sherry Proctor, John D. Waynick III, Christina Smith, Misty Smith, Shawna Conley, Russell Waynick, Elizabeth Mausshardt and Charles Waynick. She is also survived by 35 Great grandchildren and 24 Great Great Grandchildren. And a host of many other relatives and friends.
