It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garey Lynn Faries of Puxico, Missouri, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmon Moore and Mildred Moore (Cookson); his brothers, Gerland Moore and Dewayne Moore; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Buchanan of Puxico; his children, Troy Lynn Faries (Holly) of Troy, Sherry Trout of Puxico, Glenn Hodge of Puxico, Jamie Hodge (Shawnta) of Dexter, Joey Faries of Puxico and Wesley Faries (Maria) of Puxico, Missouri.; his brothers, Stan Faries of Oswego and Steve Faries of Keystone Heights; Tryna Groat. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 16 nieces and 9 nephews.
