She was predeceased by : her parents, David William and Elva Hazel McCollum (Alexander); her daughter Verna Lee; her siblings, Cleo Sommerfield of Doris Browning, P. K, Dorothy Rants, Donald McCullum, Mary McCollum and Fern McCollum; and her grandchildren, Angie of Maine, Johnny Gates and Dylan Robbins.
She is survived by : her former life partner Eldon Leroy Gates; her daughter Gloria K. Verna (Roger F. Sr.) of Kirksville, MO; her husband Wesley Branscom; her sons, Kenneth W. Gates (Loretta) of Worthington, MO and Larry G. Gates (Glennda) of Livonia, MO; and her grandchildren, Roger Fowler Jr. of Columbia, MO., Randy Fowler (Brenda) of Lancaster, MO, Gina Eagan (Danny) of Wentzville, MO, Buddy D. Gates (Buffi) of Livonia, MO, Kenny Gates of Lancaster, MO, Sheila Gates, Tyson March of Queen City, MO and Annette Robbins (Daniel) of Greentop, MO. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
