He is survived by: his wife Shirley D. Smith; his daughter Leann Hughes of St. Joseph; his daughter-in-law Tammy Hughes of Rock Port; his grandchildren, Jordon Hughes of Rock Port, Jasmine Chaney (Jim) of Bellevue, Jade Hughes (Ariel Janssen) of Omaha, Jennifer Brenneman of Camden Point and Jill Thomas (Blake) of St. Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Grayson Hughes, Cody, Keith Thomas, Samantha, Allison, Jackson and James Chaney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
