He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leroy Stevens, Sr. and Anna Edith Stevens (Jackson); his wife Barbara J. Conner; his children, John Duane Stevens and Brenda Leah Stevens; his siblings, Herschel, Anna Mae, Rosa Lee, Norma Jean and Edith; and his half-sister Desie.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Hull; his grandchildren, Travis Morrison, Bradley Hull, Jonathan Stevens, Jeffery Stevens and Cheyanne Stevens; his great grandchild Micheal Morrison; and his siblings, Donald Stevens and Romaine McHaffie. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
