He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester K. Maxheimer and Anna C. Maxheimer (Frizeen); and his brother Carroll Smith. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his son William L. Maxheimer, II; his stepsons, Robert Powell, II (Rose) and Gary Powell (Kris); his siblings, Milton Maxheimer (Mary), Paul Maxheimer, James Maxheimer (Tayida), Dona Strawn and Mary Halseth (Randy); and his sister-in-law Wanda Hartung (John). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
