He was predeceased by: his parents, George Riley and Tommie Riley; his son-in-law Larry Henbest; his wife Gladys Yuvonne Moffitt Riley; his former wife Helen Mathis Riley; and his sons, Doug Mathis and David Mathis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicky Henbest of Cassville, MO, Mary Grisham of Rolla, MO and Becky Bexten (Dan) of Harrisburg, MO.; his grandchildren, Jan Robidou, Dale Henbest, Clayton Grisham, Jennifer Grisham, Joseph Grisham, Matthew Grisham, Sr., Kaleb Tallmage, Saige Bexten and Bailey Bexten; his great grandchildren, Cash Robison, Hannah Watson, Cora Doyen, Jaron Doyen, Hazel Doyen, Pearl Gooch, Casper Gooch, Seth Grisham, Zarek Walker, Lyric Grisham, Dominic Ryden, Matthew Grisham, Jr., Malachi Grisham, Duncan Robidou, Lucas Robidou, Meredith Robidou, Jozie Sutton, Emmelie Sutton, Lorelei Sutton, Gracie Sutton and Kaylie Sutton; his great great grandchildren, Axis Wisdom, Artemis Parker, Saorise Vankirk and Everleigh Grisham; and his pet Katy. He is also survived by his daughters and all of his grandchildren, who loved to visit Papa.
