He is survived by: his wife Donna Pierce of Rolla, Missouri; his sons, James Ries, Jr. of Georgia and Gregory Ries of Springfield, Missouri; and his siblings, Ricky of Rolla, Missouri, Tony Ries of Rolla, Missouri and Anna Simpson of Rolla.
