He was predeceased by: his grandparent Dorothy Cullen. He is survived by: his parents, Alfred Lee Whitfield and Laura Ann Cullen; his sibling Frieda L. Carpenter; and his grandparents, Sidney Cullen, Virgi Whitfield and Tommy Whitfield.
