He was predeceased by: his mother Reba Lewis; and his brothers, Roland Lewis and Stacey Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Kay Lewis; his children, Sara Jean Ruemker, Carolyn Ann Lewis and Gary Wendell Lewis; his grandchildren, Brielle Marie Ruemker and Cecilia Jean Ruemker; and his father Richard Bayard Lewis.
