He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Seifried Poweleit and Arthur Poweleit; his sister Margaret Stranko (Peggy); and his son Tommy Poweleit. He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Udeen); his siblings, Fay Racke of Alexandria, Janice Brickler of Arlington, Jody Torres of Lancaster and Michael Poweleit of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his granddaughter Tracie Poweleit. He is also survived by Two great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
