She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Glear and Helen Glear; her husbands, Charles Shumate and Raymond Hopper; her siblings, Darlene Shampine (Ralph), Joyce Kansteiner (Russell), Marvin Glear (Charlotte) and Bob Gear (Millie); and her stepson Richard Hopper (Rita).
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Sharp (Elery); her stepson Stephen Hopper (Toby); her stepdaughter-in-law Rita Hopper; her grandchildren, Sherry Seabaugh and Steven Smith (Kimber); and her stepgrandchildren, Steve Jr. Hopper (Catherine), Christopher Hopper (Susan), David Hopper (Merrill), Anna Hilton (Courtney) and Katie McCrory (Tyson). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Foundation.
