She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Johnston and Betty Johnston; and her brother William Johnston. She is survived by: her husband Tom Ahrens; her children, Jonathan Giallanzo (Jennifer) and Joanne Block; her grandchildren, Charles Giallanzo, Annabella Giallanzo, Emily Leonard, Meghan Block and Quinn Ahrens; her sister Ruth O'Gallagher (late Danny); her sister-in-law Joan Johnston; and her stepchildren, Rachael Hemann, Amy Tatum, Becky Ahrens and Patrick Ahrens (Tracy).
