He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Stahlhuth; his parents, Frederick A. Stahlhuth and Ruby L Stahlhuth; and his siblings, Louis Stahlhuth and Betty Cregar.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Stahlhuth (Jana), Diane Luter (late Dave), Gary Stahlhuth (Edith) and Brad Stahlhuth (Peggy); his grandchildren, Amelia McCleary (Mitch), Mary Stahlhuth, Rebekah Maples, Nick Luter (Katie), Sean Luter (Hannah), Andrew Luter (Alec) and Brandon Stahlhuth; and his stepgrandchildren, April Mullen (Josh) and Derek Leonard.
