He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Whitaker of St. Charles, MO; his parents, Harold Whitaker and Virginia Whitaker; his stepparents, Stewart Nelson and Lilly Whitaker; his brothers, Phil Whitaker and Bill Whitaker; his daughter Cindy Owens; and his grandson Barry Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip, Susan Whitaker of O'Fallon, MO, Michael, Suzanne Whitaker of Troy, MO, Christopher and Brandon Hawkins of Wentzville, MO; his son-in-law Larry Owens of Wentzville, MO; his grandchildren, Jessica, Josh Lamotte, Daniel, Anna Whitaker, Melissa, Jeremy Beckwith, Tiffany Whitaker, Thomas Whitaker, Michael Whitaker II, Johnathan Whitaker, Mataya Whitaker, Brylee Hawkins, Rylinn Hawkins and Brynlyn Hawkins; his great grandchildren, Logan Lamotte, Hunter Lamotte, Ivan Lamotte, Dylan Whitaker, Raelynn Whitaker, Autumn Beckwith, Ronni Whitaker, Ava Beckwith and Bryson Reller; and his siblings, Lee Wilcox, Charley Wilcox, Betty Reynolds, Don Whitaker, Sue Howell and Patti Whitaker.
