He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Vollmer and Martha Vollmer; his son Jeffrey Vollmer; and his siblings, Iver Vollmer (late Mel), Norman Vollmer (late Donna) and Agnes Hussey (Don).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Vollmer; his daughter Amy Schmidt (Rick); his grandchildren, Ryan Schmidt, Laurie Brennan (Daniel), Derrick Schmidt and Jessica Schmidt; and his sibling Arlyne Jones (late Robert).
