He is survived by: his children, John Jr. Merriman, Danielle Orlando (Dino), Jackie Petri (John) and Joanna Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Heather, Kristina, Andrew, Anne Merriman, Nico, Gabby Orlando, Sabrena Petri, Brittnay Womack, Randy Schlechta and Owen Cumberland.
