He was predeceased by: his father Henry Green; his grandparents, Beatrice and Clarence Dillard; and his cousin Rodney Puckett. He is survived by: his children, Cody Green, Joshua Green, Adam Green and R. J. Green; his close friend Rachel Newport; his mother Izola Green; his sister Ilene Green; and his nephew Jarrell Taylor. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.

Memorials may be made in Joseph's name to Annie's Hope.
