She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Pointer and Ruth Marie Pointer; and her sister Darty Crabbe. She is survived by: her spouse Gene C. Gardner; her daughters, Kara G. Stofer (Brian) and Kimberly A. Gardner (Bob Neporadny); her grandchildren, Nathan T. Gardner (Julia Miller), Andrew R. Stofer and Briana K. Stofer; her great grandchild Taylor Rose Gardner; and her siblings-in-law, Lenell Alcorn and Jean Gardner.

Memorials may be made in Ruthann's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
