He was predeceased by: his wife Imogene Meeks; his parents, Willie E. Meeks and Mary Meeks-Christian; and his sister Peggy Sielert. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Copeland, Trudy Jackson (Keith) and Sherry Barlow (George); and his siblings, Harold "Donnie" Meeks, Charles Meeks and Norma James (Tom). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
