He is survived by : the mother of his children Sumiko Ward-Velez; his children, Amaya Russell and Adrian Caesar of Quincy, IL; his sisters, Shannan Gahr (Wes), Cora Meyer (Travis) and Vanessa Wilfong (Edwin); and his nieces and nephews, Tessa, Avery, Whitley, Audrey, Adelinn, Riley, Lorelei, Paxton, Joseph and Thatcher. He is also survived by his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
