She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Mapel (Stevens) and William Mapel; her husband John Price; her daughter Regina Riley; and her brothers, Eugene Mapel and Billy Mapel.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, David Mapel (Diana) of Daytona Beach, FL, Steven Mapel (Lori) of Kansas City, MO, Diane Cameron (Tracy) of St. Joseph, Robin Gunion (Clark) of Kennewick, WA, Roger Mapel (Jerri) of St. Joseph and Michael Mapel of St. Joseph.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
Memorials are requested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital or the Kansas City Zoo.
