She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl LaVon Whisenant and Frances Lorraine Jackson; and her children, Matthew Semintal and Rachael N. A. Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Lillie F. L. Smith of St. Joseph and Destiny R. L. Smith of St. Joseph; and her brother Steven R. Whisenant of Kansas City.
