He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva "Ruth" Vaughn and Maynard Vaughn, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Whorton (Ivan) of St. Joseph; his stepsons, Benjamin Hughes IV (Wendy) of St. Joseph and William "Bill" Johnson (Jamie) of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Trevor, Skylie, Rhyder Hughes, Tanner Johnson, Shelby Ruddock and Ireland Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Dillinger and Tripp Ruddock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
