He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Monahan and Babs Monahan (Kelly); his nephew Sean Cortez; and his uncles, Bill and Pat Kelly.
He is survived by: his children, Emily Monahan (Jason Strong), Jessica Timmons (Travis), John Monahan and Kenzie Monahan; and his siblings, Mike Monahan (Kerry), Pat Monahan (Chris), Mary Ann Kiddoo (Scott Kneale), Peggy Lockhart and Kelly Cortez (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
