He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Smith and Betty Smith (Daulton); and his spouse Delcie Strong. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Eldon Smith, Jr. (Theresa) and Kelly Smith; and his granddaughter Stephanie Larison (Mark). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
