We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2024, Cynthia Portnoy Kagan Frohlichstein of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Frohlichstein, Jr.; her siblings, Shilah Eisenberg (late Irv) and Stanwood Portnoy (late Dorothy); her sister-in-law Eunice Kagan Horwitz (late Ralph); her parents, Simon Portnoy and Ruth Weisman Portnoy; and her cousin Janice Shucart.
She is survived by: her children, Betty and Michael Kagan (Sara); her grandchild Eliah Kagan; her sibling's children, Barbara Portnoy Barron (Worth), David Eisenberg, Jeffrey Portnoy (Mary Middlemas), Alex Horwitz (Mindy), Don Eisenberg, Kathy Portnoy (Larry Marshall) and Eric Horwitz (Janet); her great-niece Samantha Portnoy (Gabriel Rogers); her cousins, William Shucart (Laura), Susan Roman (Richard), Carol Weisman (Frank Robbins), Nancy Wilking (Phil Mount), Joan Bachhuber and Leo Weisman (Barbara); her former husband Earl Kagan; Mother.
Fond memories of all of her fur babies Tubbercurry, Football, Casanova, Paprika and her Covid rescue Romeo.
