She was predeceased by : her father Norman Francis; her son Michael Townsend (Karen); and her siblings, Bert, Olis, Edward, Clarence and Marie.

She is survived by : her husband Bill Townsend; her children, Marcia Naeger (late Don), Karen Buoyer (late Max), Gregory Townsend, Christine Postol (Thomas) and Brian Townsend (Janelle); her grandchildren, Angela Townsend, Michael Townsend Jr. (Nicole), Jill Fennell (Jeff), Patrick Naeger (Julie), Dalton Townsend, Molli Townsend, Ryan Postol (Rachel Walker), Paige Clark (Owen), Jacob Townsend (Taylor), Joshua Townsend and Justin Townsend; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Ava, Brendan, Marissa, Jack, Kaitlin, Malakai, Meredith, Vivian and Oliver.
