We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, Joe McCormick of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Joe's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Joe's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Tom, James and Aurelia. He is also survived by his seven children, twelve grandchildren, and his great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home (12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (255 W North St, Manhattan, IL 60442).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic School in Manhattan, IL, Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, MO, or The BackStoppers in St. Louis, MO.
