With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Rowane Jr. of Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen Rowane, Sr. (McKernon); his brothers, Michael Bilbrey, Dennis Jamison, John Rowane and Thomas Rowane; and his siblings-in-law, Roxane Rowane and Dennis Tate.
He is survived by: his father Joseph M. Rowane,; his wife Diana Rowane (Tate) of Granite City, Illinois; his son Thomas J. Rowane of Granite City, Illinois; his sister Kathleen Rodenborn (Brent); his siblings-in-law, Dawn Rowane, Mary Ruiz (Omar), Margaret Catanzaro (Leonard), Brian Tate, John Tate (Nancy) and Ed Henkey; and his grandchildren, Gracie, Michael, Ryan, Olivia, Henley, Harper and Makenzie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A procession will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
