He is survived by: his spouse Harriet Phyllis Sherman Zimmerman; his parent Mildred Ruth Margulis Zimmerman; his parent-in-law Martha Greenfield Sherman; his sibling-in-law Lenore Zimmerman; his grandparents, Ann Goldberg Margulis, Max Zimmerman and Sara Czarnisky Zimmerman; his children, Rose Newman (Ronald), Susan Waxman (Scott), Elaine Amitin (Lawrence) and Andrew Zimmerman (Susan); his grandchildren, Michelle Hale (Tom), Phillip Newman (Laura), Andrea White (Nate), Rabbi Marshal (Christina), Jacob Klaven (Natalie), Janet Roberts (Jayden), Dana Cohen (Elliot), Rebecca Amitin and Marla Zimmerman; his great grandchildren, Ryann, Logann, Dylann, Avery, Nora, Gabriella, Hailie, Tamara, Maya, Talia, Kasen, Connor and Samuel; and also, Ava and Emma.
