With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julius Andrew Hummel Jr. of Saint Peters, Missouri, born in Louisiana, Missouri, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Hummel and Marie Hummel (Deters); his brother Herman; and his sister-in-law Joyce Hummel (Robertson) of Bowling Green, Missouri.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Hummel (Veulemans); his children, Julius Andrew Hummel III of Colorado Springs, Grant, Sarah Johnson (Hummel) of Rochester, Dylan and Deborah Newman (Hummel); his grandchildren, Magnus, Maliah and Ella of Colorado Springs; his children, Brian and Theresa Panka (Hummel); his grandchildren, Julia and Gavin of Arnold, Missouri.; and his siblings, Ed, Mary Anna Sick (Hummel), Eugene, Marie Therese Niemeyer (Hummel), Christopher, Bridget Hummel (O'Brien) of Bowling Green, MO, Robert, Diane Hummel (Thyson) of Wardsville, MO, Martin, Mary Ellen Hummel (Chance), John, Catherine Hummel (Stolzer) of Russelville, MO and Blandina Miller (Hummel) of Columbia, MO.. He is also survived by 50 nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren.
