He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Willard Peursem and June Van Peursem (Van Steenwyk); his wife Johanne Haringsma; his children, Erika, Madelyn, Victoria, Riorden, Kristin, Adam DeLauer, Logan, Brayden and Mindy Van Peursem; his brothers, Mark (Kathy), Kim (Julie) and Ward (Brenda); his parents-in-law, William and Ida Haringsma; and his siblings-in-law, Sidney Offinga and Clarine Kelemen. He was also cherished by two daughters, one son and six grandchildren.
